Terms of Service
The terms on which you use this site and buy our assessments and course. By purchasing or taking an assessment, you agree to these terms.
This is a working v1 draft, written to be honest and useful while it is reviewed by UAE legal counsel. We would rather publish a plain, accurate version now than leave you with nothing. The wording may change.
About this service
Global Babysitters Hub is an independent assessment and certification service for childcare caregivers. We are not a recruitment or placement agency and we are not a training school: we do not supply, rank, or place caregivers for hire. A course we offer is an optional next step, never a requirement.
What you are buying
You are buying access to an assessment (and, separately, an optional course). An assessment produces a scored report and a certificate that records the result of that assessment on that day. An assessment informs a decision; it does not guarantee a caregiver's suitability or safety, and it is not a clinical diagnosis. A certificate is not a job offer, a licence, or a warranty of any kind.
Your account
Some parts of the service, including the agency portal and any course, need an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly through the contact page if you think someone else has access. We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms.
Access codes and seats
Agency buyers purchase a number of seats and invite individual people to take an assessment. Each invited person receives a single-use access code, so a seat is tied to one person and cannot be casually shared or replayed. You agree not to resell a code, transfer it for value, or try to get round seat limits. Used and remaining seats are tracked in the portal. You can redeem a code on the redeem page.
Payment and invoicing
Prices are shown on the relevant offering page; the final price and any applicable VAT are confirmed at checkout. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, and we do not store your card details. Agencies may pay by invoice or bank transfer, with access granted once the invoice is settled. Where a price changes, the price in force is the one shown at the time of your order.
Refunds
Whether a purchase can be refunded depends on whether an assessment has been started or a seat code used. Our full, current position is set out in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Take the assessment honestly and as yourself. Do not copy, scrape, record, or redistribute assessment content, do not misrepresent a result or alter a certificate, and do not use the service to harm others or break the law. We may suspend or withdraw access where these terms are broken.
Intellectual property
The assessments, the questions, the scoring, the reports, the certificate design, and the content on this site belong to us or our licensors. Buying access does not transfer ownership of any of this. You may keep, print, and share your own report and certificate for their proper purpose, but you may not reproduce, resell, or build on our materials without our written permission.
Accreditation and validity
Independent accreditation is in progress; the body and exact scope will be confirmed before we describe a result as carrying it. Our reliability and validation work is underway and follows a documented, consistent methodology. We describe this honestly and will not overstate it. See our methodology and validity page.
Disclaimers and liability
We provide the assessment with reasonable skill and care. An assessment reflects how a person responded on the day they took it. An assessment informs a decision; it does not guarantee a caregiver's suitability or safety, and it is not a clinical diagnosis. A decision to hire, retain, or trust a caregiver remains yours, and the duty of care that goes with it stays with you.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of an assessment, for indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of any caregiver. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here, and we note the date it was last revised at the top of this page. These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the courts of the relevant emirate. The registered entity name and jurisdiction details are being finalised with counsel and will be added here once confirmed.
